Candle Care

Candle Care

Happy Tuesday! Just a couple of little hints to take care of your Serendipity Scent candle (or any candle for that matter)

  • Always burn for a couple of hours the first time. This allows the soy wax to form a memory and burn across the candle. If left on for a short time only, the wick can burrow down the candle.
  • Always trim the wick. Take the blackened end off before relighting the next time. This will stop any black smoke or blackness on the inside of the glass.
  • Only burn the candle until there is a small amount of wax across the bottom of the glass. If you burn for too long and the wax is used up the glass can heat up.
  • It goes without saying, but never leave a candle unattended. If you want something to scent your house all day, try one of our diffusers.

Enjoy your candles!
